Overview: We are seeking a dedicated couple to provide caretaking and caregiving on our scenic ranch in the high desert of Arizona. This role involves maintaining the property and providing compassionate support for a single lady living with Parkinson’s disease.
Responsibilities:
Caretaker Duties:
• Look after several horses and dogs, ensuring their well-being and care.
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds, including irrigation, mowing, and vegetation management.
• Handle building maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the property.
Caregiver Duties:
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and assistance with transfers.
• Run errands as required to support daily activities.
• Administer medication and ensure proper care routines are followed.
• Perform household cleaning and organization to maintain a tidy living space.
Living Arrangements:
• The couple will reside in a separate two-bedroom home located on the property, overlooking a picturesque meadow.
• Utilities, including electricity and internet, are included.
Compensation:
• Competitive salary based on experience.
Requirements:
• Experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals with Parkinson’s or similar conditions.
• Background in animal care, especially with horses and dogs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform general maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and a drug test.
