Job Opening: Ranch Hand in Cody, Wyoming
We are a small, family-owned ranch located near the picturesque town of Cody, Wyoming, and we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Ranch Hand. With my age, I am finding it increasingly challenging to manage the ranch alone, and I am looking for someone to assist me in caring for our horses, chickens, and other small animals.
Responsibilities:
- Feeding and caring for the horses, chickens, and other small animals on the ranch.
- Assisting with horse training and exercise.
- Maintaining and repairing ranch equipment and facilities.
- Cleaning and organizing the barn, stables, and other areas.
- Performing general ranch maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- A love for animals and the outdoors.
- Previous experience working with horses, chickens, and other farm animals is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
